Strawberry Jello

INGREDIENTS

1/2 pkt of strawberry jello crystals
1/4 cup cream
3/4 cup hot water
4 fresh strawberries

(the above measurements serves 1)

DIRECTIONS

Pour jello crystals in hot water and mix till the crystals are dissolved.
Add in the cream to the mixture and gently stir.
Cut up 2 strawberries to desired size and shape and add to the mixture.

Coconut Cookies

INGREDIENTS

125g butter/ margarine
55g Sugar
180g  flour
100g desiccated coconut/ fresh shredded coconut

 

DIRECTIONS

Mix butter and sugar until light, pale and fluffy .
Add in coconuts and  slowly begin to add the flour.
Kneed the flour til binds to the pinch.
roll medium sized balls and press on baking tray using a fork.

INGREDIENTS

150g Dark chocolate
150g white chocolate
600 ml cream
4 egg whites
1/2 cup caster sugar/ granulated sugar
chocolate cake (check out our chocolate cake recipe)
4 tbs gelatin
salt

Layer tin base with chocolate cake.
In a small bowl put 2 tbs gelatin in 4 tbs water and set aside.

Tiramisu

INGREDIENTS

Lady fingers
1 cup hot water
2 tbs instant coffee
5 egg yolks
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cram
200 g mascarpone cheese

 

DIRECTIONS

Stir in coffee to hot water and set aside to cool.
Whisk in sugar to the egg yolks until mixture is fluffy and turns a pale yellow.
Mix in the masarpone to the egg mixture.
In a separate bowl whisk the cream to form soft peaks (till it thickens but don’t over whisk you’ll turn it to butter)

INGREDIENTS

1 cup cream/double cream (you can use milk but trust me, its sooooo much better with cream)
1/4 cup granulated sugar/caster sugar
1 tsp gelatin
2 tbsp water
1 tsp caramel essence
